Red lentils are found to be one of the oldest legumes in the world. The key thing about red lentils is that they are an excellent source of omega 3, which helps us reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. They also contain high levels of vegetable proteins, minerals, vitamins and amino acids and they contain very little fat. This pasta has a vibrant colour which is down to the natural red colour within this legume and is best suited to more delicate sauces.
